Only what’s needed to make the decision work.
PickTogether is designed to work without accounts, public profiles, or collecting personal details from voters.
What a decision contains
The question, its choices, a random public link identifier, anonymous voter identifiers, timestamps, and the selected option needed to calculate vote totals.
One active vote per browser
PickTogether creates a random anonymous identifier in this browser and stores it locally. That identifier is sent with votes so the database can update an existing vote instead of adding a duplicate. It is not intended to identify a person.
Sharing is your choice
A decision is available to people who have its link. Avoid putting sensitive or personal information in questions or choices.
Service safety
Basic technical logs and protections may be used to prevent abuse and keep the service reliable.
